The Hooper Knee Pads

These have been my favorite pads. Lightweight, pedal friendly and durable. I’ve had these for 4+ seasons, with thousands of miles and zero issues. I’d buy a spare set but they’re sold out everywhere.

I bought these, hoping that they would fit snuggly to my thigh and calf. If the cuff that was on the thigh, a little snugger or tighter, I think these would be a really nice pair a kneepads I talked to Tyler McCall about them because he said he helped him design them. They are great sit pads.

I measured my thigh according to the size chart and the mediums ended up to be my choice & are a perfect fit. Wore them for the first time at a new bike park on a hot day and they felt great throughout the ride. I did not notice them and they seemed to breathe very well. The shin protection is a great plus as well. The knee area is covered in fabric so I am not sure how that will hold up when they contact an abrasive surface like rocks. The knee guard area feels very sturdy though. I would buy again based on my current experience.

I don’t say this loosely: these are my favorite knee pads. I got them for their CE Level 2 protection for park riding, and now I’m wearing them everyday. Shin protection, snug sleek fit, secure thigh band, not too bulky, easy to pedal in…it’s all there.
