These knee pads are super comfortable. I’ve had no issues with them sliding around on me while riding. And have taken a few spills where they have definitely saved my knees.

I measured my thigh according to the size chart and the mediums ended up to be my choice & are a perfect fit. Wore them for the first time at a new bike park on a hot day and they felt great throughout the ride. I did not notice them and they seemed to breathe very well. The shin protection is a great plus as well. The knee area is covered in fabric so I am not sure how that will hold up when they contact an abrasive surface like rocks. The knee guard area feels very sturdy though. I would buy again based on my current experience.

Confidently declared fave knee pads

I don’t say this loosely: these are my favorite knee pads. I got them for their CE Level 2 protection for park riding, and now I’m wearing them everyday. Shin protection, snug sleek fit, secure thigh band, not too bulky, easy to pedal in…it’s all there.

gravel & xc marathon racer super impressed

I'm a gravel and xc racer, and never thought I'd wear knee pads. But then I purchased a "siiiick brah" 150mm trail bike, and wanted some protection while destroying my enduro bro friends on their epic rides (translation: 9 miles, stop every 4 minutes, crawl uphill with that super steep seat angle, fist bump, check phone for shuttle driver, sunset selfie with beer on fence) except I didn't want to lug around a hot sweaty heavy ugly knee pad around my ankles while climbing. The Hoopers are a homerun in every regard. Light, comfortable (full disclosure: thus far only done 3 hour rides in no humidity and below 75F/24C, but climbed a ton,) and unlike most knee pads they are CE2!! There are only two high-end quality knee pads on the market for bikers like me. You probably know the other so pick whichever you can find a deal on/looks best to you. On a scale of 1 to 10 these are an eleventeen.
